When I launch Ableton first and let it recognize the MIDI controller, it works normally, but in TouchDesigner I get a warning saying ‘Could not open the MIDI Interface.’ Conversely, when I launch TouchDesigner first, it works fine without any error, but in Ableton the MIDI port is shown in red and does not function. I am curious about the cause of this phenomenon. On a regular desktop computer, I could control both Ableton and TouchDesigner simultaneously just by connecting the controller without taking any special measures. However, on my laptop I cannot control them at the same time. I have been searching for solutions but cannot figure it out, and I would like to know what possible solutions there might be
