I just tried to upgrade Touch Designer on my Intel Core2 Duo desktop and received the same error. Is this a Windows 10 issue?

I was able to transplant the installation from a windows 7 machine and everything appears to be working fine.

Maybe the installer could be updated to allow installation in Windows 10?

Thanks for the report. We are unable to reproduce the installer error you are seeing on our Windows 10 machines, but to be honest we don’t have any Atom CPU devices to test on. We’ll let you know if there is an update in that regard.

a couple questions. Is your system a 32 Bit Windows installation?

Can you run the installer from the commandline like this and send the resulting log to support@derivative.ca:

"C:\MyPackage\Setup.exe" /L*V "example.log"
