Using alpha from video to trigger events

Hi all,

I’m really newbie at TD.

I would like to learn how by using a video in realtime from a webcam to trigger events.

Let’s say i’ve got a button on top, right corner of the screen.
then i’ve got a video from which i substracted the background, and leaves me an alpha image of a sil.louette.

How could i trigger the button base upon when white alpha passes by?

Do you mean motion detection in general or the specific position of the person?

There was an object in the Palette before (you can find it in the top menu) called Motion Sensor (or something similar to that) that demonstrated how to do a frame difference and make a trigger.

at least i’m on track… or think so.

Let’s say… that i would like to do something like CCV 1.5, but within touchdesigner. Instead of assigning center coordinates to establish touch, using all the blobs for interacting with content in touchdesigner.

Do you think it’s feasable?
