Uv scale in instancting

currently the only options for uv coords are offset and replace
how about a uv scale attribute in uv instancing making it possible to create texture slices on instanced geometry
would be great to scale an instance in x and use this value to scale the u coord to keep texture ‘unsquashed’ - would still need offset, so I guess needs additional attributes, uscale,vscale ass in the texture SOP.
currently need to do this in GLSL…
