(very dumb question) connection between operators

hi, I’m becoming crazy about something : I try to follow this tutorial and I’m stucked at 11:56. I want to create a connection and when I drag and drop the operator comp1 on feedback1, the connection doesn’t happen. I can do it in the other way but not from comp1 to feedback1. do I have to check something? I followed every step and tried several times by changing everything I could but still nothing… I feel dumb, I would be grateful if someone could help me!

Hi @yolandaoklm,

if dropping the Composite TOP onto the Feedback TOP doesn’t work, also try to drop it onto the Target TOP parameter of the Feedback TOP itself.

In case this is not working either, could you share your file so far?

hey Markus, thanks a lot for your answer. unfortunately, it doesn’t work either… here is my file (sorry for the late answer, I abandoned this project for a while)

Hey @yolandaoklm,

there are 2 things:

  • the Feedback TOP’s “Target TOP” parameter should point to “comp1” - currently it’s pointing to itself (“feedback1”)
  • the Keyboard CHOP is currently exporting to the Feedback TOP’s “Passes” parameter while it should be referenced on the “Reset” parameter.
