"Viewer Active On Click Select" pref not saved?

My touch doesn’t remember the “Viewer Active On Click Select” preference. Whenever I enable it, close and reopen touch, I have to enable this preference again.

Not sure where I was, but I recall there was a derivative folder somewhere in “Documents and Settings/user/”. I now can’t find anything like that in there. Maybe thats related

it should be in a file called hfusion.pref in your $HOME/touch directory. the preference is saved as tiles.activatevieweronselect.val. do you have more than one pref file? is the file readonly? hope this helps.

The Application Data\derivative folder was missing and touch did not recreate it when trying to save preferences. I manually created that folder, and the next pref save created a touch folder and all the pref files. All good again. thx

I’m glad its working now, but if touch can’t create a preference file, it prints out an error. the error may need to be a bit more prominent.

me too. I didn’t notice any error though

The weird thing is that if you manually delete the Application Data\derivative folder, it will not be recreated when you re-install touch.
