Hello! I’m a dj that uses Virtual DJ & I want to connect VDJ to TD. I want to be able to get the track titles and artist names of what songs are playing, and the audio as well. I also want to connect my dj controller but have kind of figured that out with midi mapping. My end goal is to manipulate music (on VDJ) and visuals (on TD) at the same time using one controller.
Any tips on how I can do these things? I’m still very new to TD & learning my way around
Afaik VirtualDJ does not have such a feature where it sends that track information. But you can try this opensource Unbox software which can create a websocket server with that information. You can connect to that from TouchDesigner using the Websocket DAT
