Hello everyone!
I’m Larus, an electronic musician with 12 years of experience in production and live performance. I’ve dabbled a little with Touch Designer and always loved checking out what people are doing with different visual softwares. I’m seeking a visual artist for an live project.
Project Goal:
Create a audiovisual experience with a strong thematic focus. I have some ideas but am open for collaboration. The visuals should have the capability to interact with the music in real-time, though not necessarily constantly reacting to sound. I’m open to exploring various modulation solutions.
What I’m Looking For:
- Primary Requirement: Develop a visual setup/interface in Touch Designer that integrates music and visual elements, which I can control easily live while I perform. It would be awesome in the future to also invite/fly you out for bigger performance with good budgets.
- If time allows: Produce music video releases.
About Me and the Project:
I’ve been an active participant in the Norwegian and Icelandic underground music scenes for many years. Initially, my focus was primarily on live performances. However, life threw me some challenges, and for about five years, I had to take a step back. During this period, I redirected my limited time and energy towards DJing and music production, allowing me to stay connected to the scene while managing other life commitments. I really want to focus on creating something that will inspire us and the people experiencing it, I have deep respect for the visual arts and want to connect with people.
- I’ve released several single tracks on various labels for compilations.
- Currently preparing to release a diverse portfolio of material across genres with different aliases: experimental glitchy stuff, club, ambient, jungle, house, techno. (Which I will share with you as its developing)
- I run LEK, a Norwegian label focused on club music.
- We have strong international connections, especially within the electronic scene in Georgia, home to Europe’s largest club.
Timeline and Goals:

First live performance launch: April 2025 at ElektroSamfunnet, an Electronic festival in Trondheim. I have a couple of request from other scenes in Norway, but based on the timeline for this festival, I feel like its possible to develop something inspiring. This will be the first test, the room can fill about 400 - 500 people and they have good technicians to setup whatever we decide. Here I would need to possibly have a separate computer for the visuals.

Music/EP/Album releases: March - April 2025
- Would be nice to have some visuals for the release if possible.
Situation: Right now I’m focusing on finishing the tracks, at the same time creating a live performance with Ableton live and hardware.
Funding:
I will be seeking funding for these projects. Additionally, for all live performances where I use your visual setup, I will include in the budget an agreed-upon fee for each performance at festivals and clubs with the bookings. Once our collaboration and concept are solidified, I’ll pursue overall project funding next year (October 2025) which includes compensation for your visual contributions and hopefully many more creative works together.
