Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here. I’m not new to TD and have organized a few events, mostly galleries or art events. I’ve also done some VJing, but never more than 2 or 3 hours. Now I’ve been invited to an event to VJ for over 8 hours and I need some tips on how to manage it. Please share your thoughts, and if you have any suggestions for VJ Player, I’d appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
8 hrs! Holy cow! that seems awfully challenging to make that much content….If you can cut down the gig time I would…..
Yes, that’s a lot, but I want to project some prepared video loops. I need a structure and some expert guidance.
Well I have done two hour concerts using SceneChanger and that is reliable to switch between pre-made TOX files and turn off cooking in all scenes not being displayed. It is explained by the originator in a good Touch Designer Roundtable session and on this forum here:
That would be my recommendation for an 8 hour show. Good luck!

Yes I highly recommend OKVJ as your foundation to build upon, and do support their patreon. It’s a lot packed into 34 Megabytes - reminds me of demoscene, almost.
