vst plugin like in a DAW

Hey Derivative,

I am a hobbyist musician. And I wish to make some kind of animation on my music.
that is why I am discovering TouchDesigner, Really from the beginning.
Before I am going on, I wish to know how to connect a ‘midi in’ CHOP with a 'audio vst’ CHOP. it is: to connect a midi keyboard to a vst plugin, which creates than the sound.
Which I use always in my DAW.
also: Can you recommend me a tutorial that suits best with my demands?

a good resource on tutorials is youtube. There are a few results when looking for TouchDesigner and vst - first hit is @elburz:

Generally when starting out with TouchDesigner, I recommend also visiting our curriculum at learn.derivative.ca for some quick video introductions on the basic principles of the software.
