What is a button?

Hey folks,
Going on a philosophical tangent for a moment… What is a ButtonCOMP really?

Is there any difference between it and a ContainerCOMP when paired with a PanelExec?
I’m of course considering beyond just the button types like momentary, toggle, radio, etc.

Are there any optimization advantages to using one over the other?
And how do they compare in terms of mouse click and touchscreen support?

Very similar. Shouldn’t be speed differences. The main differences are what you see on the button parameter page. There are also some panel values that are tracked in buttonCOMP but those are pretty much deprecated.
