Where is Collapse?

Howdy,

I’ve been going through the Ragan/ASU tutorial material, and it’s brought up a very simple issue that alas I cannot find answered anywhere yet.

He often encapsulates a set of nodes in a container by selecting them and choosing Collapse from the right-click menu. Unfortunately that option is no longer in the menu in 099 (Macos), or if it is there I cannot recognize its new name. Is there a replacement?

It seems very unlikely that the feature would vanish, it’s (imo) extremely useful in organizing networks. And while I can of course create a container and copy/paste into it for the same purpose, my experience is that it’s much more likely I’m just overlooking something.

Hi @Heurihermilab,

it’s still there in the last section of the menu:

make sure to click on the network editor and not on an operator directly as these are 2 different menus.

Thanks very much! It was indeed that simple.

35 years of using GUIs had led me to right-click on a selected item…
