WHITEvoid is hiring - TouchDesigner Developer

WHITEvoid is looking for a motivated and high-level developer with experience and refined expertise with Derivative’s TouchDesigner. Over the last years WHITEvoid developed a wide range of extra-ordinary projects across the globe. From interactive installations and spaces to high-end kinetic systems and products. TouchDesigner was used to realize a lot of these projects and we are now looking to expand our Berlin-team with an additional TouchDesigner developer.

Your tasks:

  • Become our leading person for developing and maintaining the Realtime Control Software for our Kinetic Lights System
  • Adapt and extend our software toward new technologies and customer requests
  • Interdisciplinary communication and development in our office with mechanical and electrical engineers
  • On-site set ups and in some cases operating of national and international installations and projects
  • Organizing and managing software versions (git)
  • Documentation

Your profile:

  • Experience and knowledge related to interactive, electro-mechanical projects
  • Good understanding of key aspects regarding sensors, actors and communication protocols
  • Independent-working and self-motivation in regards to our company’s bigger picture
  • Accurate, diligent and responsible working methods
    Touch Designer Specific:
  • Extensive TouchDesigner 088 experience with a track record of successfully-completed projects
  • Python or similar scripting language experience. Object Oriented Programming experience a plus
  • Basic understanding of 3D and SOP workflow in TouchDesigner
  • Basic understanding of GLSL
