Why not increase the sample rate for better synchronization?

Many of the CHOPs have a sample rate parameter which is, by default, is usually set to the fps of the timeline (usually 60).

If I wanted to use a chop to sync data from computers, should I just increase the sample rate to get more precision?

For instance if I were sending sample rate data from one computer to another via OSC would it make sense to increase the default sample rate on each node (or what goes to osc out)?

My confusion on this comes from the fact that if I have a computer that is sending out data via a network node, I am assuming that this data would get transmitted every frame therefore it would be impossible to send data more than once per frame even if it were sampled at a higher rate.

Is that correct?
