Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone has any of these tablets:

and has tried installing TouchDesginer or even just TOuchPlayer on these tablets. Does it / WIll it run fine? Not placing a high priority towards the 3D stuff but geared towards interfaces and such…

nabhan

These are all using Intel integrated graphics so they wouldn’t work with TouchDesigner or TouchPlayer.

Btw, TouchPlayer has identical system requirements to TouchDesigner, there is no difference between the two.

thanx for the reply Ben. Guess I have to wait for a windows 8 kal el tablet then… XD

Okaaaay… here’s a way to use touch on a tablet device using splashtop.

basically, splashtop streams video from a PC to the remote device and sends mouse clicks etc. back. The video below shows someone playing skyrim on a ASUS eeepad transformer prime with a 4 core Nvidia Tegra3(KalEl) chipset.

so as long as oyu have a big-ass PC in wifi range, it should be possible to interface to touch from a tablet on your lounge without it setting you on fire.

dayum!
