Windows Muting TouchDesigner/TouchEngine

I have run into this twice now on two different show files - seemingly after an arbitrary amount of time (hours of time) of a file running Windows seems to set the volume to 1 and lock the volume slider. Even after rebooting the show file or the PC it cannot be changed. I have had some luck by copying the file, changing the name and reopening however this doesn’t always work. This is happening using Windows 11, TouchDesigner 2025.32280 and 2025.32440 and both with the main TouchDesigner executable as well as individual TouchEngines. This also has occurred on two different machines with fresh installs of Windows. In TouchDesigner this is using Directsound/CoreAudio.

I have tried disabling ‘Allow applications to take exclusive control’ and ‘Give exclusive mode applications priority’ but that doesn’t seem to do anything. The files used unfortunately I cannot share, however there are relatively complex with many replicants and audio ins/outs as well as NDI, video stream and hdmi in/outs. The two show files I have experience the issue on are completely different files with no correlation to each other.

Is challenging to replicate as this has happened on show files and haven’t had time to replicate the issue. Would appreciate any guidance on where I could look to solve this issue!
