Windows Security blocks TD

hi all,

suddenly today windows security blocked TD,

i excluded the main TD installation folder and allowed TD under windows security folder access,

i uninstalled a re installed, no luck…,

i get this error msg

machine is dell, i5, 11th gen

16 gb ram, intel iris gpu, win 11

td ver 2025.32280

any help is much appreciated

Hi @jackysch,

this is very system specific. You could try to open a Command Prompt with Administrator rights and run:

sfc /verifyonly

this might point to some corrupted system files.

sfc /scannow

will do the same but also attempt to repair them.

hi there,

i tried both commands, everything seems fine with system files…, i’ve bben using TD for about 8 months now and this is the fist version that windows security doesn’t like..,so i unninsstalled and reinstalled, it seems to be working fine now, so thanks!
