working with rgb+amber DMX fixture

Hey all,

I’m building a show using a bunch of ADJ Mega Bar dmx lights - [url]http://www.adj.com/mega-bar-rgba[/url]. These include an amber LED on each of the bar’s 8 pixels to help get better yellows and skin tones, it’s controlled by every 4th dmx channel.

I’m currently using a topto chop to pull the RGB vals from a texture and sending out 0’s for the amber channels to ignore them, but i’d really like to calculate what the amber value would be for a particular sampled color. Any ideas about how this could be done?
