zuweiser - more experiments for controller mapping and binding

Hi Markus!
Thanks for your great talk yesterday at the roundtable! Always super inspiring to see!

Great to see your take on a mapping system as well! Super clean and to the point. Love the s-curve functions! I did have a question while going through the patch. You’re using export as the main link between the mapping and the parameters. Is there any specific reason for this? Seems like you do use a bind chop but then use it with an export dat. Am I overlooking something to use binding instead of the export method?
Thanks!
Roy

Hey @yfxlab,

Thanks Roy - very happy to hear that!
a bit weird but exporting from a Bind CHOP actually creates a “bind export”
This means the parameters are bi-directional and you can use the pickup feature in the Bind CHOP.

cheers
Markus

aaaaah! Oh wow that is a super handy way of organizing the binding mappings then! I was confused since the target parameter gets shown in green as an export driven par. Thanks for clearing it up!

Hey @yfxlab,

yeah - more work to be done on that end
